Trump Supporters Camp Out Overnight In Colorado Springs As Campaign Moves From Arizona

Hopeful rally attendees camped out in brisk weather overnight in Colorado Springs, Colorado in anticipation of President Trump’s campaign event on Thursday, fighting off the cold with tents, sleeping bags and space heaters in the parking lot of the venue. The rally comes just one day after another campaign event in Arizona, which unexpectedly featured a 100-year-old World War II veteran Ervin Julian, who stole the show after being carried in by two others to attend the event. Trump recognized the veteran during his speech, which was a continuation of his West Coast tour ahead of key primary elections.

Colorado is a key state for Trump, who narrowly lost the state in 2016 to Hillary Clinton, and is looking to win the state in the upcoming election.

The event will be live streamed on Trump’s YouTube channel at 5 PM MST.
