The North Charleston Coliseum is expecting a packed house tonight for the latest Trump rally in South Carolina, beginning Friday night at 7 PM Eastern Time. As with other campaign events, Trump supporters camped out overnight to get prime seats for the event, with many bringing tents, sleeping bags, and even BBQ grills to feed those working for the rally.
Avid supporters lined up all day in the parking lot until gates opened at 4 PM ET, with food trucks and vendors on hand to keep people fed and comfortable.
According to Trump’s campaign, more than 70,000 tickets were requested for the event, although the venue only holds 13,000. Facilities will be available outside for those that are unable to make it into the venue to watch the event, and it will also be available for livestreaming online on CBS.
